Dyed Maple Hollowform
Big leaf maple burl, African blackwood
6.25" x 3.5" x 3.5"

Scott Hackler, b. 1969
El Dorado, Kansas, United States

Artist note: Combining black, blue and yellow dyes showcases the maple burl and gives the impression of marble. My signature style finial extends the curvature of the form all the way to the top of the piece.
