About the Artist:
I grew up in Providence, RI and attended Cornell University, where I majored in Entomology. After college I moved to Oakland, CA and rediscovered my lifelong interest in art and my passion for making things. This path led me to Garry Knox Bennett, who became my mentor, friend, and, at times, my employer. 16 years later, I am still making my work in his studio. I am drawn to making studio furniture because it fulfills my need for order, as well as my creative need for expression, while benefitting from my attention to detail.
