About the artists: JENNIFER SHIRLEY has been working with wood for 16 years and woodturning for 14. Her work has been shown in several national exhibits and publications and is in many private collections. She is a frequent demonstrator at regional woodturning guilds and symposia around the country. Jennifer teaches at several craft schools and is a member of The American Association of Woodturners. Her passion for making turned objects feeds her love for teaching others the art and craft of woodturning.

CLAY FOSTER is a wood turner with 28 years of experience who has shown in galleries and museums from Asheville, North Carolina to San Francisco, California. His work has been featured in numerous books and publications, including Michael Hosaluk's Scratching the Surface, and is represented in private and public collections such as those of Yale University and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. A founding member of the American Association of Woodturners, Clay teaches and demonstrates extensively for clubs, conferences and schools from North America to England, Australia, and New Zealand.
